This online study programme is offered within the framework of international cooperation with universities in Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Germany as a joint study programme of the Kiel University of Applied Sciences and Lübeck University of Applied Sciences in two variations – depending on prior qualifications:

The online study programme industrial engineering provides comprehensive skills for handling management tasks and training in procedures and methods that are required to organise business processes in a complex environment.

In particular, this includes operative management of IT processes, controlling, human resource management, logistics, business management, and strategic planning. Therefore, the Master in Industrial Engineering is a comprehensive supplement to any technically-oriented academic degree. It is an excellent preparation for management tasks, either in industry (e.g. plant manager, supervisor, or branch manager) or for your current occupation.

The admission requirement is a successfully completed first academic degree.

80% of the study programme take place online – via the internet. Approximately 20% is allotted for face-to-face meetings, for example examinations, laboratories, and exercises. These take place on the weekends (Friday afternoon, Saturday, and Sunday).
