In the association of universities Virtual University of Applied Sciences (VFH), the association members have been offering the cross-national online study programmes Media Informatics, Industrial Engineering,
Business Informatics and Business Administration  since the winter semester 2001/ 2002.

In order to guarantee permanent usage of this online study offering, they founded the university association Virtual University of Applied Sciences (VFH) on April 30, 2001. The associated universities form a virtual organisation and have agreed on joint curriculums, study and examination regulations. Online support and face-to-face meetings are carried out according to uniform standards. Enrolment takes place at the corresponding university locations according to the student’s choice.
