Academia Baltica
The understanding of history and culture

The work of Lübeck Academia Baltica aims at the spiritual, cultural and social conditions which are needed to sustain the relationship of people living together throughout Europe as well as the awareness and research of European history, intellectual history and culture of a wider public. Therefore there are more than 30 seminars, scientific conferences, courses, lectures and study trips taking place annually. Focus is the question of the identity and the memory of nations and countries of the Baltic Sea Region.
In this context there has been a collaboration during the development of the Master study programme Transregional Management in line with the Baltic Sea Virtual Campus. The online course Baltic Experiences is a result from this and will be carried out in cooperation with the Academia Baltica and the German Society for Foreign Affairs.
