The energy sector in transition
Grant amount: €487,945.07
The energy sector in transition
The energy industry is undergoing dynamic change – both a challenge and an opportunity, particularly for small and medium-sized enterprises and their employees in the region. Schleswig-Holstein in particular stands to benefit greatly from the climate and energy policy objectives. The social partners and policymakers in the state have already laid pioneering strategic foundations. With the SH2Q project, the two partners aim to make a high-impact contribution to ensure that companies and employees benefit directly from this transition.
Project goal
Digitally supported qualification programmes for the renewable energy and hydrogen sectors in Schleswig-Holstein.
What is SH2Q
Online-based further training modules are being developed to support the safeguarding of employee qualifications in the renewable energy sector in Schleswig-Holstein, including the hydrogen economy segment, with regard to technological and ecological requirements. The training modules are intended to provide participants with the necessary specialist knowledge and practical skills to meet and satisfy current and future requirements of the sector. Only in this way can small and medium-sized enterprises in particular within the sector, as well as from the immediate industrial environment, actively and innovatively help shape the further development of the energy industry in Schleswig-Holstein. The training is aimed at employees in the sector, employees in networked sectors (planning, logistics, financing, etc.) as an offer without special prerequisites, and particularly also at career changers. By facilitating a qualified entry into the renewable energy sector and the hydrogen economy segment, the project makes a particular contribution to securing the industry's need for skilled workers.
The project A2 SH2Q is part of the Land Programme Labour 2021 – 2027. The Land Programme Labour 2021 – 2027 is co-financed by funds from the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) and the federal state of Schleswig-Holstein (cf. here).
