Tailored learning opportunities through AI technology
The use of supporting AI technology in the context of personalising educational offerings and recommendations is still in its infancy. Continuing education providers should be in a position to make tailored learning opportunities available to learners that, adapted to individual prerequisites, needs and general conditions, lead effectively to the goal.
Project goal Invite – KIPerWeb
Increasing the visibility, transparency and suitability of vocational continuing education provision and further developing it in a way that meets requirements and target groups. A further goal is the flexibilisation of continuing education towards microlearning, thereby enabling the flexible adaptation of provision to changing
and framework conditions as well as adaptation to different participants' needs becomes possible.
What is KIPerWeb?
With the National Continuing Education Strategy (NWS), the Federal Government, federal states, businesses, trade unions and the Federal Employment Agency have set themselves the goal of further promoting vocational training and lifelong learning.Â
This is being carried out as part of a joint project named KIPerWeb„AI-supported Ppersonalisation in work-related Weiterbildung“.Â
Continuing education providers should enable learners to (independently) identify courses that match their prerequisites and needs, and which, adapted to individual factors and general conditions, lead effectively to their goal. In doing so, individual interests, empowerment and the demands of the working world must be taken into account.
The KIPerWeb project is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research and the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training.
