Climathon SH 2025
Climate action in everyday life
Our team oncampus 4GreenPlanet has successfully participated in the Schleswig-Holstein Climate Marathon 2025!
2nd place
We achieved the fantastic 2nd place among all participating organisations and teams in Schleswig-Holstein.
11 team members took part
11 people from our oncampus team completed numerous challenges.
Motivation for greater sustainability
Taking part has inspired us to integrate sustainability even more strongly into our daily lives in the future – and to get other colleagues enthusiastic about it too.
I was surprised by how easy it is to do something for the climate with small steps – and how much fun it is to try it out together.

More about the promotion
The Climatethon is a 42-day competition for greater climate action in everyday life. Via an app, participants can choose from over 160 exciting challenges across eight areas of action – such as mobility, nutrition, housing or consumption. Every completed task earns points for the participants' own team and makes it visible how much CO₂ can be saved.
The aim is to achieve a big impact through small changes: participants learn new things, reflect on their own behaviour and experience how climate protection can easily succeed in everyday life too. The Klimathon is organised by 2-0 carried out and brings together organisations, businesses and private individuals in Schleswig-Holstein – for sustainable competition with real impact.
Some examples of small, everyday measures with a big impact
- Buy local vegetables and support local farmers.
- Bleed your radiator.
- Turn off devices completely using a extension lead.
