Background continuous professional development in nurseries

The cooperation between oncampus and Fröbel was established with the aim of making Fröbel's educational values digitally accessible and practically experienceable. Fröbel's guiding principle „Competence for Children“ formed the common starting point. The developed courses take up central values such as diversity, equality of opportunity and democracy, and actively support professionals in implementing and strengthening these principles in everyday nursery life.

Challenge

Fröbel needed a digital solution that offered practical and flexible content. The challenge lay in translating Fröbel’s educational standards in such a way that they are intuitively accessible and can be applied in day-to-day work. What was required was a platform that combines user-friendliness with depth of content and authentically reflects Fröbel’s approach.

Solution
oncampus largely took over course production – from the didactic design and media creation to the technical implementation. In close coordination with Fröbel, content was created that conveys values such as diversity and equal opportunities in a practical way. A tailor-made, Moodle-based platform with interactive tools such as H5P supports individual learning and exchange between professionals. oncampus also ensures the hosting and maintenance of the LMS, so that the content is accessible and user-friendly at all times.
