Transparency & Position Assessment
The sustainability check helped us to understand where oncampus stands in the areas of social, economic and environmental sustainability.
Concretely implemented measures
100 % of our external server power comes from renewable energy sources. We have also set up a sustainability team and provided further training for three of its members.
Long-term strategy
Sustainability is now being approached strategically: through regular events, systematic integration into the business and the establishment of sustainable structures.
With the sustainability check, we have created a sound basis for tackling sustainable development at oncampus strategically. Our goal is to firmly anchor sustainability in our corporate values in the long term.

Background
In 2021, with the support of IB.SH, we took part in the EEN sustainability check. We were motivated by various aspects:
What does sustainability mean for a business?
·        Where does oncampus stand on the issue of sustainability?
How can we approach this topic within the company and tackle it strategically?
How does the process implementation work?
The results of the check showed us where oncampus stands in relation to the four areas surveyed:
People
We are very well positioned in the area of social sustainability.
Profit
Economic sustainability is also very satisfactory.
Planet
Ecological sustainability is compared to the other participating
Companies difficult to evaluate and implement. The environmental management and the
Building management lies with the THL, for example, and therefore we have no control over it
